Rally on Sun. April 3 in Peekskill: Call to Halt Construction of Spectra AIM Pipeline and to Oppose All Gas Infrastructure! Spectra Energy Partners pipeline, Kinder Morgan et al

The maps below indicate the proposed routes:

You, along with over 27,500 people, signed SAPE's petition and we need your help!

PLEASE DON'T LET THE HUDSON VALLEY BECOME THE NEXT FOSSIL FUEL SACRIFICE ZONE.

Your voice is needed in this battle to speak loudly to decision-makers. Please come to the Rally presented by Stop the Algonquin Pipeline Expansion (SAPE) and Food and Water Watch to say NO to the very dangerous Spectra Algonquin Incremental Market (AIM) pipeline, being built next to Indian Point nuclear facility (constructed on 2 earthquake faults), which would cause catastrophic, long-term damage to a widespread area, including New York City, in the event of an accidental or terrorist-caused explosion.

Where: Riverfront Green, Peekskill, New York
Date: Sunday, April 3, 2016
Time: 2pm - 4pm

If you will attend, please add your name to the attendees list on the above Facebook link.

Governor Cuomo has also taken action to protect health and safety in the region by taking the unusual step of asking the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC) for a stay of this fracked gas pipeline, until a risk analysis is completed by key NYS agencies; however, our Governor’s request has been ignored by FERC.

Thank you for adding your voice to help us and New York State protect residents.

We appreciate your help in fighting this perilous pipeline.

Thank you!
