Landmark Toyota verdict exposes cover up says Jere Beasley
Beasley Allen Report host Gibson Vance welcomes Beasley Allen Law Firm founder Jere L. Beasley to the program to discuss a recent landmark jury verdict in a case of wrongful death and serious injury linked to Toyota sudden unintended acceleration. Toyota recalled more than 8 million vehicles worldwide in 2009 and 2010 after reports that sudden unintended acceleration resulted in crashes involving serious injury and death. Toyota blamed the problem on faulty floor mats, sticky accelerator pedals and even driver error. But the real problem all along has been a defective electronic throttle control system (ETCS). Mr. Beasley says Toyota knew before the first recalls that there was a problem with the ETCS, as early as 2004. "When you go back and look at the beginning of this problem, they knew about the problem, that's the real tragedy," Beasley says. "Toyota knew."
The jury in the recent case tried in Oklahoma City determined that defects in the Camry's electronic throttle control system were directly responsible for a 2005 Camry's sudden acceleration and resulting crash where the driver was seriously injured and a passenger killed. The jury in that case returned a multi-million dollar compensatory damages award and determined that punitive damages were warranted. However, the case was settled before the jurors had a chance to determine the amount of punitive damages to be awarded. The amount of that settlement was confidential.

RUNAWAY TOYOTA PRIUS careens into MD bus stop
How is it possible that SOOOO many TOYOTA owners experience 'medical emergencies' ?
Hmmmmm......is it statistically possible?
Thank you TOYOTA for refusing to repair the LEMON LADY's TOYOTA and for keeping me safe and preventing me from injuring others?
2 pedestrians struck as car careens into Md. bus stop

KENSINGTON, Md. (WJLA) - Two people were struck and injured by a careening car as they stood at a 'Ride On' bus stop in Kensington on Saturday morning, authorities said.
INITIAL SPECULATION TURNS TO LIKELY? :
Montgomery County police initially thought it might be a case of DUI, but later determined the man driving likely suffered a seizure or other medical emergency.
The accident occurred around 9:20 a.m. on Connecticut Avenue near Howard Avenue. One of the pedestrians, an 18-year-old woman, was pinned under the light green Toyota Prius and had to be freed by firefighters.
"I think there were three people, two of them jumped [out of the way], the lady I guess was too late," Javier Ruiz, an auto mechanic at a nearby Shell gas station said. "Once they started pulling her off, she started screaming like crazy. It was pretty graphic."
Ruiz documented the aftermath and urgent rescue with his smart phone. The bus shelter, which included large glass panes and a black metal bench, was obliterated when the Prius became an unguided 3,000 pound bullet.
"It's around four pieces in one spot," one bus rider remarked upon seeing a cluster of quarters on the sidewalk. "They must have let the money go, their coins dropped to the ground as the accident was happening."
Montgomery County Fire & Rescue Services spokesman Pete Piringer says paramedics took the 18-year-old woman to a local hospital where she underwent surgery for two broken legs. Although the length of her recovery is unclear, Piringer says she is expected to survive.
The other pedestrian who was struck refused treatment at the scene.
The car's driver, a 61-year-old Silver Spring man, was also taken to a hospital and was treated for non-life-threatening injuries.
Police said he would be ticketed for the accident, but the exact charge was not immediately known.
"You know that feeling you get when you see something horrible? Nothing happened to you, but you're looking at somebody, it's a human being, you know their life is at stake and you're just shaking," Ruiz concluded.
This is the second Montgomery County 'Ride On' bus rider to be hit by an out-of-control car in just as many weeks. On Feb. 18, Vanessa Dixon, 49, was waiting for a bus in the 1000 block of Cresthaven Drive in Silver Spring when she was hit by an SUV; she died a short time later. The vehicle's driver, David Alejandro Rodriguez, 22, of Silver Spring, was taken into custody on suspicion of DUI.

TOYOTA: Safety Not Mandated.....!
This is Noriko Uno:
This is the TOYOTA that sped out of control, killing Noriko Uno because she couldn't STOP it, she even pulled the emergency brake:
[TOYOTA] argued that brake override was not -- and still is not -- required under federal vehicle safety standards.
THIS FROM TOYOTA, A COMPANY THAT ADVERTISES HOW IMPORTANT SAFETY IS: 'SAFETY IS NOT MANDATED' ??????
[Noriko] Uno pulled her emergency brake before she died, proving she tried to regain control of the car .....

Safety on escalators, but not in TOYOTAS?
It is salutary to remember that every escalator on the
London Underground is fitted with emergency stop
buttons: not so cars fitted with electronic throttles!

Wade through the details in the article....but think about this:
FORD was NOT mandated to install a kill switch in the trunk that protected not only me, but the occupants of the home where the MERCURY SABLE came to rest.

TOYOTA SOLARA crash that killed Lily Quintus ....
This 4 year old cherub, Lily Quintu was killed when an out-of-control TOYOTA SOLARA slammed into her day care center:
Lily Quintus (4) was killed when a car crashed into her day care center
The 4-year-old girl who was killed when a car crashed into a Florida day care center on Wednesday was passionate and "absolutely infectious," her devastated mother told NBC News.
This is the FHP diagram of the KinderCare TOYOTA SOLARA Crash that explains the photos in the link below:
A previous article indicated that the TOYOTA SOLARA was airborne. This certainly raises many questions.
Comment from other:
Look at all these photos to see the ones which really shed light on the impossibility of a fender-bender causing the Solara to propel like this. Skid marks on several pictures INSIDE the building which show that the driver was trying to stop but couldn't.
Note the pics with the police car heading toward the front of the building. This shows the strange trajectory of the Solara after being hit from behind. Note the pic with the firetrucks in front. There are two different parallel sidewalks between the main road and the parking lot. It shows the relative distance the Solara would have to travel.
