When people make bad decisions publicly, they feel a need to defend that decision in spite of all evidence to the contrary that proves the decision was wrong.

Pick any public topic and you'll find many who will explain the facts and rationalize there wrong decision.

I'm hearing a lot of that in talking to my friends who were casino supporters. What gets to me is when they defend Glen Marshal.

More info, gambling has been proven to lead to more desperation, the high of thinking a big win, causing more crime, more suicide, more financial problems, more broken families, more homes lost. Do you not read the papers? Are you not aware of the economic recession we are in? You honestly think legalizing gambling is the answer? Good luck.
