Hi EveryoneWell, it has been a whirlwind of a ride with Bender.Bender had a wonderful person come forward and offer to pay for his $5000 surgery anonymously and agreed to adopt Bender as long as the donor's current dog and Bender got along which they did when they met at the park.Well, a lot has gone on since my previous emails. The donor and her dog met Bender and all went well until the donor took Bender home to her house. Her current dog proceeded to get ugly and Bender was returned to his fosters. While all this was going on, one of Bender's foster mom's broke her foot adding to the chaos of this situation. Add in that the orthopedic surgeon is now telling us no stairs or as minimal stairs as possible and his fosters have lots of stairs and I am now faced with finding Bender a new foster home in the Walpole area that can help get Bender through his 8-10 weeks of post op care and rehab.Bender is a wonderfully sweet dog. Loves kids, cats, other dogs. Crate trained, house broken. Very easy dog if it were not for his leg.If any of you or anyone else you know can help Bender, please let me know asap. My house is not ideal as I have stairs everywhere as well as a very busy hectic schedule. Thanks
Denise
