✿¸.•°*˜ SNUGGLY DIGI ˜*°•.¸✿ AWESOME BEHAVIOR EVAL + A REAL CUDDLER + GOOD WITH DOGS AND KIDS!!!!***
Digi is a 2 year old lover who needs YOU to adopt him tonight. Digi is available for adoption on the public list until NOON on Wednesday, and is waiting for YOU to reserve him and bring him home to gobble down a turkey dinner. Digi is a hunk-a-bunk of burning love, save his life! Click on his pic for all info. Please hurry!
A volunteer writes: Digi is a real loving machine! He adores every kind of snuggling from stand-up hugs to lay-across-your-lap caresses and it's such a treat to spend time with this handsome and sweet-natured guy. Unfortunately, when you have a 50 pound bundle of love standing on your lap or leaning against your chest it's a little difficult to get photos of the moment so you'll just have to look at his beautiful face and imagine those soft brown eyes gazing adoringly up at you as you receive a lingering hug from our resident C...asanova. At 2 years old Digi is still a teenager but he's already mastered the art of sitting for treats, which he takes eagerly but nicely from my hand. He's easy to handle, walks calmly on leash and when we meet other dogs he's excited to see them but in a friendly way. And of course, every staff member we run into is greeted with the happy fervor of a long-lost friend. Outings with Digi are a highlight of my day and I can just picture the bright future his new parents have to look forward to when they welcome him home. Whether it's playtime or cuddletime, Digi doesn't disappoint and he can't wait to show you just what a good boy he is. So go ahead and eat dessert first...ask for this delicious hunk of marble cake today, Digi's waiting for you!

.•*¨*•► FLASH ► is a miniature bolt of energy and fun, who arrived at Brooklyn ACC as a stray. At only 7 months old, she has youth and charm on her side. Flash has managed to be blissfully oblivious to the horror that surrounds her, and even earned an excellent behavior rating. But no one came for Flash, and with the ACC cold, she has been placed on the list to be killed on Wednesday afternoon, 11/20. There MUST be someone out there for sweet Flash. Please help us find a foster or adopter for her ASAP! If you'd like to be the lucky one to bring her home but need help navigating the process, click on her pic and ask. Please hurry, Flash is almost out of time . . .

11/19/2013 BEHAVIOR EVALUATION - EXPERIENCE
Exam Type BEHAVIOR
Flash's behavior in the care center has been friendly and social. She did very well on her SAFER evaluation. The previous owner notes that Flash is high-energy and hyper. She may also be uncomfortable with strangers in a home environment. Due to this report, the behavior department recommends an experienced adopter for Flash who can provide mental and physical stimulation and exercise as well as guidance and training to help Flash become a successful family pet. 11/5 SAFER: Helper Dog: A0981190 Flash pulls on the leash and was sociable toward the handler during the assessment - soft body. She was excited during some of the handling items, but had soft body language. She was excitable, but playful while playing tag. She was a bit difficult to push out of the food bowl, but had soft body language. She was easy to handle when chewing on toys and showed minimal interest in rawhides. Flsh approached the helper dog with playful body language. Look: 1. Dog's eyes are averted, with tail wagging and ears back. She allows head to be held loosely in Assessor's cupped hands. Sensitivity: 2. Dog displays high energy and movement, but it is directed toward getting closer to the Assessor. Her body is soft, likely panting, may jump up between attempts to lick Assessor. Tag: 1. Dog assumes play position and joins the game. Or dog indicates play with huffing, soft 'popping' of the body, etc. Dog might jump on Assessor once play begins. Squeeze 1 & 2: 2. Dog places her open mouth over the Assessor's hand without applying pressure. Food: 2. Dog follows the dish with her tail down, body likely a bit stiff. Dog lifts head after a bit of pressure from hand to cheek. Toy: 1. Dog takes toy away, keeps a firm grip and is loose and wiggly. She does not place her body between you and the toy. Rawhide: 1. Minimal interest in rawhide, dog may smell or lick, then turns away. Dog-dog: 2. Dog approaches helper dog with tail at spine level, body not stiff, ears relaxed.
