GOP House FAST ONE Stopped by OUTCRY!

The GOP House attempted to slide a FAST ONE through!

Only the outcry of Americans stopped this SECRECY and only because of the Interim Election.

Maybe it's time to wake up and recognize the danger of GOP Extremism Rule whereby they could easily cram this through and thumb their noses at you!

Dear Taxpayer,

On Tuesday this week, we sent you an email about the House Ethics Committee’s decision to remove the requirement that Members of Congress disclose travel paid for by private sources on their annual disclosure reports.

On Wednesday, Taxpayers for Common Sense signed on to a letter to the Committee with ten other groups, and then got the word out ourselves, calling for the change to be reversed.

Today, National Journal reports that the Committee chairs have reversed their decision. Disclosure will again be required.

They know we’re watching. Thank you all for your support of Taxpayers for Common Sense!
Happy July 4th, everyone!
