Simplifying the Application for Student Aid Act

Having so many of you sign my card and wish me a happy birthday made Friday a truly special day. Thank you for your kind words and support.

One of the most important issues I'm working on right now in Congress is increasing access to quality, affordable higher education. This begins with making applying to college easier for young people and I need your help to call on Congress to put students first.

Last month, I co-sponsored The Simplifying the Application for Student Aid Act, a bill that would streamline and improve the student aid application process. It’s commonsense, and it’s the right thing to do for our students.

This bill would save students and their families’ hours of work and ensure students receive valuable financial aid information when they need it most – not when they’ve already received their admissions packages.

Help me provide our students with the information they need to make their dreams of attending college a reality. Add your name right now to support our children’s future.

Thank you,

Mark
