If you put a map in front of Donald Trump and asked him to place his finger on Afghanistan, Syria, North Korea, Yemen, or any of the other places he's escalated our military's involvement or is threatening to, how close do you think he'd get?
Let's be honest: this is a man who is so unfit for the position he holds, it'd be comical if the stakes weren't so critical.
Thankfully, the Founding Fathers were wise enough to create a system of checks and balances to protect the people of this country from a situation like the one we find ourselves in. But that means we need a strong legislature -- not a compliant conservative chamber willing to carry out the chief executive's commands.
With our nation's security at such great risk, that means it's critical we work our hardest to elect progressive veterans who understand what it means to serve and to volunteer to put themselves in harm's way. Today, I want to ask you to support two such veterans.
You've seen both of their famous campaign introduction videos already. And maybe you know that both of them have tough races. But the truth is, tough races are only winnable races if people step up and chip in. Please do it today, because we need a legislature willing to hold Trump accountable.
