Take a minute. Support Cape Wind

Take a minute.

.

Cape Wind should be just the beginning of statewide efforts to support alternative energy and reduce dirty fossil fuel dependency.

.

Environment Massachusetts provided an easy click to comment page.

.

Tell MMS you support Cape Wind
After more than six years of review, on Monday, Jan. 14, the much-anticipated Cape Wind project got yet another green light in the form of a favorable 2,000-page draft study on its environmental impact, finding its building and operating impacts "negligible" or "minor" on vegetation, wildlife, and ship and air traffic.

It's clear Massachusetts needs to move away from dirty power, and toward a new energy future, and finally building Cape Wind would be a huge step forward.

Please take a minute to tell the U.S. Mineral Management Service that you want to see Cape Wind built.

They're taking comments from the public right now, and this is one of the last major hurdles for us to cross to finally realize the promise of clean, local energy from Cape Wind.

.

The MMS comment period lasts until February 21, 2008 to express your support of Cape Wind. Please do it now.
