Verizon and the Middleboro BOS

Verizon aggressively moved into Middleboro filled with great promises and misrepresentation of providing local access channels.
.
Word was spread that Verizon would make that coverage available in January 2008.
This appears to be yet another hoax Verizon is perpetrating.
.
New subdivisions are being denied FIOS.
.
New Verizon customers are paying for a service Verizon is failing to deliver.
.
Isn't it time for Verizon to step forward and make good on their promises?
.
Call Verizon today and they'll assure you that they are providing the service which they ARE NOT.
.
A previous entry addressed Verizon's misleading claims.
.
The Middleboro BOS discussed Verizon's failure and seems to have forgotten.

After attending the last two selectmen's meetings to get the story on Verizon, I am disappointed that the selectmen totally forgot the issue until I mentioned it after the meeting was over. They said they would contact Verizon and get the answer. I am sure they will have an answer this week. While not a major issue, it is always nice to get what I pay for.

While not a major issue,....

If you call up Verizon to order new service and they tell you they offer local coverage when they, in fact, DON'T, what shall we call it?

Deceptive? Fraudulent?

If you signed up for a service and are paying for it, but not receiving it, should Verizon be called to task?

In my opinion, the BOS shouldn't forget things, but then they seem to have casinos on their minds and not the rest of governance.
