Stimulus Reality

Senate Republicans, continuing to cling to their flawed ideology, forced a compromise that will include 42 percent tax cuts and 58 percent new government spending.

It is not my intent to dally on economic policy, but reveal the Republican obstruction for the failed thinking it is. Open Left provided a Bang for the Buck chart that clearly illustrates the efficacy of government spending.

After I read this and printed the charts I understood the political posturing in Wash. The tax cuts are wasted money. Makes sense

My husband was laid off friday. What are Republicans waiting for? Tax cut don't help when you're on unemployment and can't pay the mortgage.
