I’ve been fortunate enough to have dogs, cats and other pets throughout my life. They’ve given me unconditional love and showed me the meaning of humanity. So when I see animal victims of abuse and neglect it makes me fight all the harder on their behalf. Through your AHA membership you’re fighting for them, too. You’ve helped save countless from a life of cruelty and abuse. Many have been adopted into loving homes. But many more urgently need our help. And time is running out. Every year in America, approximately 3-4 million healthy adoptable dogs and cats are euthanized. And while AHA has done so much to save them, there’s always more we can do. Through your AHA membership, you’re supporting research to reduce pet overpopulation...raising public awareness about the importance of adopting homeless pets at local shelters...providing emergency veterinary care for abused and abandoned animals...and much, much more. And that’s why when you consider your year-end giving, I hope you will make a tax-deductible contribution of $15, $25, $35, $100 or more to AHA today. Your gift will be the gift of life to a deserving dog, cat or any other animal that urgently needs our help now. Please don’t wait. Lives are at stake. On behalf of our American Humane Association family, thank you again for your compassion and generous support. I wish you and yours a happy and safe Holiday Season.
