Not sure if you all remember Jasmine Kennel build several month ago……. I checked on her 1 week before I left for Germany and I was so upset what I found . The frame for the “ roof” collapsed and all 4 dogs where full of parasites and on top of it Vanessa didn’t keep up with the slow kill treatment for Jasmine and she kept all 4 dog in the 10 x 30 kennel… she let them out for few hours during the day ….when she has time ….. 3 medium size dogs and one small chi in one kennel and 3 doghouses with nothing in there…and shit all over . Anyway long story short… dewormed all 4 dogs for 3 days ( did it myself ) and told Vanessa I will come by to fix the kennel. Begged her to give up some of her dogs and with help from her sister she at least agreed to give me Joy ( 10-11 month old ). I picked up Joy 2 days before I left for Germany . Today we fixed the kennel and I need to de-worm the dogs again ….the kennel was full of shit again …grrrrr…. But the good news is …. Her aunt who Jigger belongs too is allowed to leave ( also 10 -11 month old ) . I will pick him up Tuesday or Wednesday . Her sister told me also that Vanessa’s ex husband want Jasmine and he will take good care of her ( she is spayed and UTD on shot but HW positive ) . As soon as he will pick her up I will get with him and talk about the slow kill treatment …. The 4th dogs she will keep then inside ….. but I learned one thing with her she changes her mind every 2 days…. So cross your fingers sweet little Jasmine hopefully can finally leave that place too

PLEASE do NOT contact the pound directly unless you can adopt or foster, some of our pounds only have one phone line and in some cases you may be tying up the phone lines and not allowing other adopters or fosters get through. We MUST keep those lines open for adopters wanting information - UOD does NOT support, condone or TOLERATE any of our members calling pounds or rescues to unleash your fury on them...... It's Ok to be angry but BE ANGRY at the PREVIOUS owner who has put this fur baby in this position-

Andrew came to the pound with a broken jaw –this poor dog had been hit in the face with a baseball bat. A wonderful woman paid for him to receive the surgery to repair his jaw. He is now completely vetted, housebroken and cratetrained. Most importantly he is ready to be loved.
