Save A Life!

RUTHERFORD COUNTY ANIMAL CONTROL! RUTHERFORDTON, NORTH CAROLINA.
THIS IS TOTALLY UNACCEPTABLE!!!!!!!!
No words can describe the horror of these filthy smelly drop boxes where the animals are dumped like trash at this high kill animal control. One drop box for the cats and another for the dogs. What kind of so called shelter encourages people to dump animals like garbage.

Absolutely Dissgusting! Share this and get the word out there!! Admin
Yes, you are literally to dump the animal through the hole and they wind up in some area with all the other dumped animals! Can you imagine the fear, the fights, just everything? Landing on top of each other, injuries to the infirmed and aged?

This was perhaps the most shocking thing I'd seen at RCAC: drop pens for people to dump their unwanted animals.

Angels for Animals Network shared Frederick Wright's photo.
To say this to most of you is preaching to the choir. But please share with your "friends" who brag proudly about where they "bought" their puppy.

Most animals in shelters will be euthanized. Most of them were someone's pet, a family member, simply dumped or abandoned, many left at High Kill Shelters. By the time you read this, many will have been euthanized.

If you're considering a furry family members, please consider shelters and rescues first.

NYC ~ Please share SONNY for a new home ASAP!!!

Sonny
DESPERATELY NEEDING HELP:
This lovely dog,a coon hound named Sonny, was given to me initially to take care of but his 90 year old owner wants to get rid o...f him ASAP. He has brought me his records and all his things. He has an inoperable infected hole in his heart and chances are slim he will survive. He told me to have Sonny, his dog, put down because he can no longer care for him. a little background on Sonny: Sonny was shot as a baby and left on the side of the road in Georgia. He had to have his left leg amputated. My friend adopted him two or three years ago at a pet store in Nyack at which time he had heart worm. He is, about 5-7 years according to his vet, absolutely healthy now and up to date with all his shots. His owner gave me all his records. The apt he was in is tiny, dark, opressive and no one is there. It was not nice to begin with but once Sam the owner., got sick He was not getting fed and taken out in a timely manner I could not leave him once his owner was in the hospital .Sonny is VERY sweet, very obedient and easy to care for and gets along with my two Maltese. My doctors want me to “get rid” of him ASAP because they are afraid of me getting an infection from a scratch or whatever because I have a challenged immune system from Sarcoidosis. I want him to have a good caring home. He is absolutely lovable. He will make someone really happy - even one who is wheelchair bound if he has a caregiver present. I beg of you to help me. please message me if you can help. my email is renasherman@gmail.com. this dog is located in NYC.See More
