Meet Chance, he was brought to the shelter yesterday with an injury to his leg. We sent him to the vet and we have now found out he was shot in the leg which in... turn has broken his leg. He is super sweet and loving. He really needs a foster that could take care of him while his leg heals. If you can help or would like to adopt him please call the shelter at 417-967-0700. URGENT! Flake has reached 100 Days in the shelter!!
This adorable white boy, has reached a milestone that NO CAT wants to reach. He has been in a cage, in the shelter, for over ONE HUNDRED DAYS! No one can understand, why this sweet 6 year old boy is still searching for a home. He has a lot of energy and will need a home where he can decompress from being cooped up for so long, but whoever gives him a chance will be one lucky person!!
FLAKE (A20576949) I'm dreaming of a white...Labor Day? This handsome boy may be the color of snow but he's as warm as a summer afternoon! Flake is 5-10 years ol...d and was surrendered by his owners of six years as they felt he was destructive. Flake really needs a fresh start in life as it appears he didn't have the greatest life in his former home. His owners noted that Flake is an independent cat who doesn't require a lot of attention, but he sure seemed happy to have a visitor to his cage. While he is shy at first, Flake warmed up quickly and was soon rubbing against the bars of his cage, asking for head rubs! Flake would do best in a low-stress environment with an owner who will give him time to adjust and decompress. He is already neutered and ready to go home today!
