This Beautiful lady is Venus. A deaf, 10 month old Pit Bull Terrier with
a sad story and a lot of love to give. This little girl was found roaming the streets in the middle of winter looking for food. Luckily a good Samaritan picked her up and soon realized she was deaf. She
contacted us, knowing that a deaf puppy was a lot to handle and we took on the challenge. Venus is a very strong, independent girl who needs her family (preferably experience with the breed) to continue her training on being a well-behaved family member and not running the house. She is naturally a dominant dog, and would do best in a home with no other dogs. Venus is still very much a puppy and needs an outlet for her energy so long walks, a running partner, or something to that effect would be ideal. Venus plays very hard and does not know her own strength so we are looking for a home with kids over the age of 10. Venus is crate trained, house trained, knows sign language and is spayed, vaccinated, HW tested, microchipped, de-wormed and utd on flea and HW prevention.
Venus is one of the sweetest girls you will ever meet, she is smart, and willing to learn. She is not the perfect dog for every home, but we are confident her perfect home is out there!

All of our adoptable pets are in a foster home, and for that reason an application must be submitted before a meeting can be arranged. Filling out an application does not obligate you to adopt it simply tells us a little about you and the type of home you have to offer a new pet.
As a rescue it is our goal to carefully go over your application to be assured that it is a perfect fit for both the pet and you and/or your family. Our foster homes are able to easily evaluate each pet to quickly find out their likes and dislikes which is vital information to a successful adoption.
