Bipartisan Prosecutors Call Scott Walker a Liar for His Attacks on Corruption Probe

When Scott Walker prevailed in his RECALL election, I ask an activist who had been in Wisconsin how that was possible given Walker's performance.

The activist had been there and explained that there were ads all over, on the sides of barns and silos, on billboards.....it must have been worth it to the Koch Brothers....

Last summer, a Wisconsin resident was driving around Middleboro with a bumper sticker supporting Scott Walker.....the man appeared to be smart....guess not!

It's amazing what people will believe!

I’m writing to share some good news — The Undercurrent is collaborating with Brendan Fischer of the Center for Media and Democracy on a new video segment we’re calling "Naked News, Exposing Corruption in DC and Beyond." The idea is for Brendan to present one of CMD’s latest investigations, and for me to follow up with questions to the relevant people in the field.

In our first clip, Brendan reports on the pushback from the GOP prosecutor investigating Scott Walker, who recently said that the John Doe campaign finance probe is a "partisan witch hunt." At the South Carolina Freedom Summit last weekend, I followed up, asking Walker how he could make that characterization when the investigation is being led by a Republican prosecutor who voted for him.

Watch the video on YouTube, and please like and share on Facebook and Twitter if you agree that the media should do a better job of cutting through Scott Walker's spin...
