What will you be doing week of January 16?

On January 20th Donald Trump will take possession of the most powerful office in the world.

You and I know what this means.

A corporate board passing itself as a cabinet and a host of “advisors” will govern our lives. The double-speak, half-truths and down-right lies will intensify. The 99% will suffer greatly as this corporate take-over wreaks havoc in our economy, augmenting the income and wealth divide. And already fraying safety net stands to become fully unraveled. Basic civil liberties and civil right protections will be imperiled.  Our beautiful Earth will be further carved out, her riches extracted and exploited.

The attacks will be multiple and on multiple fronts.

Nobody is safe.  Not even in Massachusetts.  A sheriff with ties to the extreme Right Wing group Constitutional Sheriffs and Peace Officers Association (click here for story)  audaciously announced publicly that he would use inmates in his jails to build the wall with Mexico (click here for story)

It may seem hopeless.

But the Phoenix is on the rise!

This historical moment is calling each and every one of us to make a choice, to take a stand.
