The Arrogance of Power

The only thing surprising to any Massachusetts voter is that more weren't indicted.

The Probation Dept. got more $$$ in the budget than requested to hire these hacks.

Voters got what they deserved by putting these people in office.
It's time to support better candidates for office.

SANDWICH — A defiant Senate President Therese Murray said Friday morning that her office should not have been mentioned in indictments against the former commissioner of the state's Probation Department.

Murray, a Plymouth Democrat who represents the Upper Cape, declined to answer specific questions about the federal indictments released this week by U.S. Attorney Carmen Ortiz against John J. O'Brien and two of his deputies. The indictments allege 17 counts of bribery.

The initial indictments of O'Brien in 2011 were on racketeering and mail fraud charges.
