Why would anyone deny Americans Health Care?
Here are three numbers for you:
3 is the number of years in a row that DFA members have voted Mitch McConnell the worst villain in the U.S. Senate;
420 is the number of filibusters Mitch McConnell has led since becoming Minority Leader and is the reason he's declared himself the "guardian of gridlock;"
2014 is the year Mitch McConnell will lose his reelection.
Our polling last week proved Senator McConnell is currently losing, but with the election a year away, we still have a lot of work to do to make sure it becomes a reality. That's why we're not waiting another day to launch our Ditch Mitch campaign.
Will you contribute $4.20 -- a penny for every filibuster Mitch McConnell has led -- to jump-start our campaign to Ditch Mitch?
Everyone from the media, to the front running democratic challenger, to Mitch's tea party primary opponent can smell blood. Now a tape recording has surfaced where even Mitch's own campaign manager told a conservative activist "Between you and me, I’m sort of holding my nose."
Yeah, he actually said that.
Here's the thing. This is an incredible opportunity. The longer we keep Republicans playing defense, especially in a red state like Kentucky, the harder their path to winning control of the Senate gets.
Contribute right now to fuel our campaign to Ditch Mitch.
Together we can make sure this is Mitch McConnell's last term in Congress.

Republican Disgrace of the Month
The Republicans just launched a plan to strip every single cent of Obamacare’s funding. And if Democrats don’t go along with this revolting scheme that would leave 32 million uninsured, top Republicans have vowed to shut down government.It’s despicable: The Republicans will hold the entire nation hostage unless Obamacare is completely eliminated.
The Republican Senate primaries are a complete circus!
It's a circus: in over a dozen states,
elephant-on-elephant conflict is raging as Republicans fight an internal battle
over the future of their party.
In some states, unpopular Republican incumbents are finding themselves challenged by even more extreme candidates. In others, the same extreme Republicans that you helped defeat in past elections are back for another go. But in each of these states, the Republicans are showing their true colors with extreme positions on Medicare, Social Security, and access to contraception.
