A month ago, one of our dear friends who knows someone down south saw this before picture of Sully in a high killl shelter. (This is before, and one week later.) She had 24 hours and no one stepped up for her. The next morning, minutes away from her end, a wonderful foster named Brantley offered to take care of her until we could bring her to NYC. She has taken such wonderful care of her and she is ready for her trip here.
Brantley can't say enough good things about our little Sully. Wonderful with everyone, including dogs, and not a mean bone in her body. She's also housetrained. Can anyone please open their homes to her for a short time while we screen and meet potential adopters? Please email Mslondonspets@aol.com

These adorable 1 Year girls were dropped through the night drop box 8/1, covered with fleas. Bluebell (left) and Buttercup (middle) are still there and desperately need a new home before it's too late. This is a kill shelter and is usually very full. Manhattan ACC ~ This poor baby was returned because his owner said she can't afford the (quite inexpensive) medication for his seizures. On them he is seizure free but if he does not get his meds he could go into a permanent seizure and die in his cage. Is the ACC gonna make sure he gets his daily meds????? He needs out NOW. We can no longer do this without
more support so we are closing down. All the animals below urgently need a home,
if we can't place them we will be forced to put them down. It will probably take
about 6 months to place them all so please make a last feed fund donation at
304-269-1333 so we can at least feed these guys until they go to a home.
We have two people giving all
they can give and have to have so much more help to continue our work for
innocent animals. Sadly without us here they will all die. I am getting ready to
shut down the website and will be shutting down these emails, so this will be
the last time you hear from me.
If you are an adopter, this does
not relieve you from your contractual responsibilities of your adoption
agreement. The contracts still exist and must be fulfilled. Since the website
will not be available, please email

annual update forms, facility move form or anything like that. Our facebook page

always helped us over the years. 17 years is not a bad run and i think our final
count is close to 2300 animals into homes. I really feel like I could have done
rescue and adoption for another 10 to 15 years but you can't do it without funds
or support from people who care so don't think of me, think of all the animals
dying because we are not there to save them.
I will never understand why
people won't even give $25. a month to help the innocent animals, $25. to keep
them from dying a needless death or being horrifically abused or why they
won't volunteer one day a month. If everyone did that we would never have any
animals being put down, they would all be cared for and in loving homes. So your
$25. is preventing that from happening... Honestly right now I am ashamed to be
a humane, i see everyone taking all their fancy vacations on facebook, driving
fancy cars, living in their fancy houses, doing everything they want but its all
about them and their big egos. They will leave this world having given nothing
or left anything that will make a difference in this world. To me, its the
biggest waste of mankind but I now know I can not change anything, people will
never care no matter how many animals die. its such a shame, I feel so sorry for
the animals who just want to live, be happy and be loved.

...m! She came to us as a stray and no one came to claim her, so now she is hoping to get a 2nd chance. She is precious, I’ll say that! She only weighs 5.5 lbs. We estimate her age to be Adult (young adult). She loves to be with people, she knows they keep her safe. She is up to date on shots, gets along great w/other dogs and she will be spayed prior to her adoption.
