A boy named Cookie

Cookie is an adorable tuxedo domestic short hair male. This little boy is quite slender and approximately 1½-years old. He has the cutest little face with a white mustache and streaks on either side of his nose, and pretty green eyes. This guy is also a total love-bug and cuddler. Cookie was quite shy when he first came into the shelter, but as he rapidly adjusted to his new surroundings he blossomed into a friendly interactive cat. He gets so excited when we stop by to pay some attention to him, that he rolls over for tummy rubs, head butts for more pets, and rubs against us to get even closer. This boy is just an absolute joy to interact with.

Cookie was brought to us because he did not get along with his owner’s female cat. He is friendly and very people oriented, so he should do well in almost any household, although he may need to be an only cat. This boy may be just the right cat for you if you are looking for a sweet, little male kitty who wants to cuddle and interact.

If you would like to visit with this cute little boy, or one of our other equally charming kitties, come in to the shelter at 44 Beagle Lane in Teaticket. We are open to the public on Wednesdays from 4 to 6 p.m., Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., or call our hotline for an appointment. Hotline: 508-540-5654.
