Be A Hero! Save A Life!

Pets on Death Row - Urgent Death Row Cats shared their photo.
SWEET SENIOR NEEDS YOU! Cats have many virtues, among them their ability to live in the moment. So you can imagine that it comes as quite a surprise when a senior cat is suddenly scooped up and surrendered to the ACC, when just a few moments ago they had a loving home and a comfortable routine. Now lovely Laurie has only an ID number and memories of how life used to be, back when it made sense. This is a very affectionate and friendly kitty (she aced her behavior eval with an average rating) who deserves a new leash on life. Don't let it end for this way. Please do everything you can to help lovely Laurie tonight.

***BEAUTIFUL BEGINNER-RATED KITTEN NEEDS A NEW HOME FOR THE NEW YEAR - PLEASE GRANT NELLY A DEATH ROW PARDON!!!*** Gorgeous mini-panther kitten NELLY is a seven-month-old kitten who arrived at the kill-happy ACC as a STRAY, but this little girl is such a lovebug, it's obvious that Nelly had a home, once upon a time. “Hello everyone, my name is Bolt! I am a youthful ten-month-old Husky mix! I was named Bolt because I am fast as lightning, and I love to run around and play. I love being around people, especially children. I also love to play with other dogs! People who walk me always tell me that I am a very good girl and that I am very beautiful. I’m always in a happy mood; it’s why I’m always smiling! I hope to find my new family soon!

If you’d like to adopt me, you can find me at our S...unset Park location, located at 551 39th Street (between 5th and 6th Avenue). Or you can call one of the friendly staff that takes care of me at (347) 599-1500.”

Please share this page and spread the word so that we can find Bolt her forever home. With your help, we can find her the loving family she deserves!

During this season of giving, please consider making a donation towards the care of Bolt or any of our other furry babies by clicking here: http://bit.ly/seancaseyanimalrescuedonations

Angels for Animals Network shared Frederick Wright's photo.
To say this to most of you is preaching to the choir. But please share with your "friends" who brag proudly about where they "bought" their puppy.

Most animals in shelters will be euthanized. Most of them were someone's pet, a family member, simply dumped or abandoned, many left at High Kill Shelters. By the time you read this, many will have been euthanized.

If you're considering a furry family members, please consider shelters and rescues first.

Distance should not hinder your decision.
