Look at those eyes! We first met Rue when she came into TJO as a s a Mill Street, Springfield stray. We were ecstatic to see that her family has invested so much time in her and that Rue had earned a doggie BA! This is what Jill at Dakin said about her BA achievement… CLASS is a National program and to pass the CLASS BA the dog must be able to walk on a loose leash past bones, toys, food, and other distractions, wait politely at doorways, drop a bone or chew toy when asked, hold a stay for 1 minute, settle quietly on a mat or in a crate for 1 minute, Come when called directly to the owner from a short distance. Meet a stranger without jumping or pulling. The owner is not allowed to use or carry food during the evaluation. So it is a big achievement! Congratulations Rue on your award! you and your family are Pawsome!

Pets don't care how much or how little you have, all they want is LOVE.

These words couldn't ring more true then today. Help us give the gift of life for animals fighting for survival in our shelters.
