Southern California - Jude needs our help! She has had over 4000 shares, and no offers About 2 years ago, her owner was viciously attacked by another dog as she tried to protect her precious Jude from a dog attack. The owner was attacked and injured so badly that Jude did run the dog off. Jude through no fault of her own is in need of a home. HELP! Please!

Jude is in Los Angeles, California
Jude Story
Meet Jude. This girl has had some tough times. About two years ago her owner (who loved her dearly) was out on a walk with Jude when she (owner) was attacked by another dog. Jude’s owner loved her so much that she held on tight to her leash while being viciously attacked in hopes Jude would not get hurt or get away. When she could no longer hold on; Jude courageously saved her owners life and ran the dog off. Jude’s owner was very badly hurt and also very ill, she was unable to continue to care for Jude. Jude LOVES people so much but obviously due to the vicious attack on her previous owner; does not like any other animals. Jude need’s a home, a good loving home. She is sweet, gentle and just simply want’s to BE with a human. She would do great with an older person as long as she has a back yard; (and maybe a dog walker a few times a week) as she is low maintenance; and a loving human to lay next to and spend time with. I’m asking everyone to please please help me share this gorgeous girl and get her a home. She has been waiting for a very very long time, she has been patient but how long can she wait in a run for someone to love her? Thank you in advance.
Jude is located in Southern California, Please contact me directly here on Jude's site to meet lovely Jude. She weighs about 60 pounds.

Sounds like a must have loving cat.....please share this cat available for adoption.

Say Hello to Athena!!!!!!!
Athena and her kittens were rescued in late spring. Athena is a very special rescue. Her kittens had a distemper and they didn't make it. For a young cat, she's been through a lot. Now, she's ready to move forward and find a forever home.

For a young cat, she still has a ton of energy like a kitten. She loves all of the toys at her foster mom's home AND she loves to play with the foster mom's cats too. Not sure if they want to play but she's always trying.
Athena also has a unique personality. Since she is always looking for attention (or just to crash next to you on the couch), Athena at times goes up on her 2 hind legs looking to be petted or loved.
Athena is a young spayed female with up to date shots. If you're interested in adopting her then please contact MHS.

Little dogs who have been family members suddenly tossed into the confusion of a shelter....it's understandable they might get 'snappy.'.....
URGENT!! Another pup euth listed in Orange County, California!

Reports say he "tried to bite," but so do a lot of dogs when faced with the confusing terror of a loud, cold, intimidating shelter! Humans have done this poor boy wrong, but that doesn't mean he deserves to die! Who can step in and save a life?

Our friends in Logan County WV lost TOO many dogs and cats this past week, so we want to try to share while there is still some time left (we have noticed the date the animals are PTS is Tuesday ). A lot of these dogs are scared or starving for attention. I have built a tough skin sharing dogs, but seriously the pictures from this pound made me cry.

If you are interested in one of the animals, you must call ASAP and to be safe the animal must leave the pound by closing on Monday. We heard that the shelter PTS a dog that had a confirmed rescue. I understand that is hard to hear: we were very upset to read this!!! However, it is not going to save the lives of the animals that are still alive to focus on being mad at the pound- we need to focus on getting these animals out!!! Please share the following three animals so that they too can safely leave the pound!!!

Pets on Death Row - Urgent Death Row Cats added 4 new photos to the album TO BE DESTROYED SATURDAY 8/10/13.

There comes a time in everyone’s life when the years ahead are outnumbered by the years in the past and such is the time for Ashton. Even though he’s a senior who has not lived a lush life by any means, Ashton appears to be in relatively good health. OK, he has a little arthritis, but his teeth are clean, his heart is strong, his lungs are clear - hey, he’s in remarkable shape. Ashton was found as a dirty stray who was infested with abundant ticks. It’s quite miraculous that he didn’t suffer any permanent damage for his time on the streets. He has a little hematoma on his ear but that may clear up on its own. He’s a medium-sized guy who would fare nicely in an apartment. Ashton is literally dying for want of a loving home tonight - really. Please don’t let Ashton die alone in a cold shelter back room tomorrow because he’s not ready to leave us just yet. Please advocate for Ashton tonight.
