Lawns? Dumb idea!
Evolution of suburbia.
Self-sufficiency is an ideal worth working towards.
Check out your city ordinances to see if this is allowed where you live.

The GOP has no soul, no matter how religious they pretend to be. Their actions are usually diametrically opposed to the vast majority of the religious text they promote or for that matter most of the other world religions. It has become obvious that they really don't believe what they say otherwise they would practice what they preach.
It would be funny if it wasn't SO true!

In 1997, Tom Cotton (a freshman Arkansas congressman who has hopes for the Senate in 2014) said that young womens' greatest fear in life was to be left by their husbands and that their deepest hope was to be a good wife and mother. And, he urged feminists to stop trying to make it easier to get divorced.
I wonder if he has those same views now? Hopefully by now his views have changed, but given the ridiculous words and actions of the GOP, I'm not convinced. (lm)
"If the Republican Party is trying to connect with female voters, Arkansas Senate candidate Tom Cotton may not be the one to help them do it....
Cotton, a freshman congressman who is running for Senate in 2014, warned feminists in a 1997 article for the Harvard Crimson that no-fault divorce will backfire on them by enabling their husbands to leave them for trophy wives.
"Feminists say no fault divorce was a large hurdle on the path to female liberation," Cotton wrote. "They apparently don't consult the deepest hopes or greatest fears of young women.""

It is really sad what the Republican has become.

This was a collaboration with The Witty Liberal and Liberal Licious and Conservatives Are Destroying Our Future. Great pages thanks for letting me help.

Here's the tough truth: the world is still betting big on fossil fuels.
This is why we need to divest, and right away -- because the fossil fuel industry will drive us over the cliff, unless we step up to stop them.
Agree that this is insanity? Click SHARE to sound the alarm.
