THANKS TO FRACKING, TOWNS IN TEXAS ARE OUT OF WATER.
But the industry that does the fracking couldn't care less. See Dick Cheney was the Daddy of this industry and had the foresight to know it would be devastating to the environment so he made sure during the Bush administration that he would get the fracking industry protected and removed from any EPA power to regulate. Here are the consequences of lack of regulations, greed and corporate power over people and the environment. In other words, here is what voting for the GOP puppets of the 1% is costing us. Hey, TEXAS, ready to vote blue yet?
Imagine If There Were A Town In The USA Where You Couldn't Get Any Water. You Can Stop Imagining.
It is baffling to me that this is something that can actually happen and be legal.

Texan drought sets residents against fracking - video

In Mertzon and Barnhart in western Texas, the worst drought in two generations is choking the water supply. Water shortages are raising tensions between locals and the fracking industry. Drilling for shale gas uses up to 8m gallons of water each time a well is fracked. Suzanne Goldenberg reports
