.·´¯`·-❥★❥ TRUNK ★ is hoping to find a FOSTER or ADOPTER with an extra TENNIS BALL! "He LOVES to play fetch, eagerly with a wagging tail chasing after the ball and bringing it back for another toss," writes a MACC volunteer. "I can easily take the ball out of his mouth, he keeps his eye on it just waiting for the next toss and off he goes! Trunk never chews the ball - just diligently brings it back for another toss. Kiss, hug, retrieve, kiss, hug, retrieve, repeat, repeat, re...peat. I can't think of a better way to spend an afternoon. Trunk is handsome in his brindle coat, although he could use an additional few pounds on his elegant frame.... He is appropriately tail waggingly friendly with other dogs, getting a bit vocal in his greeting. He's happy, exuberant and wants us all to know it - too cute! Trunk sits when asked to, accepts treats gently and keeps an eye on the treat when we stop to take some photos."
Trunk is looking for a ball playing, affectionate family to call his own, and he needs them to find him FAST. He's on the euth list at Manhattan ACC only because he caught the shelter "cold." Trunk can be reserved for adoption from the public website until NOON on Friday if you can come get him in person within 2 days, or you can work with one of the approved rescues to foster or adopt him. If you need help, click on his adorable pic and ask. Please hurry, Trunk is almost out of time

WEB MEMO A volunteer writes: Handsome Trunk is hoping to meet someone with an extra tennis ball. He LOVES to play fetch, eagerly with a wagging tail chasing after the ball and bringing it back for another toss. Easily taking the ball out of his mouth he keeps his eye on it just waiting for the next toss and off he goes! Trunk is handsome in his brindle coat, although could use an additional few pounds on his elegant frame. He pulls on the leash and will benefit from some leash training, and eliminates along the way indicating he is likely housetrained. He is appropriately tail waggingly friendly with other dogs, getting a bit vocal in his greeting. He's happy, exuberant and wants us all to know it -too cute! Trunk sits when asked to, accepts treats gently and keeps an eye on the treat when we stop to take some photos. After playing ball with Trunk for a while, I begin to wonder if this is what the ball players refer to as a 'spit ball'. Lots of dog slobber makes for a fun throw! Trunk never chews the ball - just diligently brings it back for another toss. Kiss, hug, retrieve, kiss, hug, retrieve, repeat.....
