Dilly, Dally Dan

Route 44 Toyota Threatens SLAPP Suit!  explained SLAPP --

Strategic lawsuit against public participation

A strategic lawsuit against public participation (SLAPP) is a lawsuit that is intended to censor, intimidate, and silence critics by burdening them with the cost of a legal defense until they abandon their criticism or opposition.[1]

One of the problems with SLAPP is that the loser, in this case Route 44 Toyota will pay my legal fees to bring this bogus lawsuit. Did Dilly, Dally Dan explain that to his client?

It's important to remember that Dilly, Dally, Delay & Stall Attorney Dan Viera conjured up his threat when dealerrater** disclosed my comments about Route 44 Toyota ILLEGALLY requesting my credit report, as well as that of a disinterested 3rd party.

It's interesting to note that Dilly, Dally Dan demanded proof when my attorney disclosed this violation of FCRA [Fair Credit Reporting Act] which of course, I had already forwarded to my attorney.

Did Dilly, Dally Dan really think the claim was unsubstantiated or is he merely a bully?

Then he makes this absurd comment without substantiation --

"I am not at liberty to discuss with you in detail why those claims are both false. I suspect that you will amend your complaint regardless of what the facts may be.....

How weird is that???

Any reasonable person might have figured out that the legal fees in this case have exceeded to value of my BRAND NEW TOYOTA WITH NO BRAKES.

**  A poster on dealerrater made the comment that many of the positive comments are from employees. Go to dealerrater and note the similarity of syntax, as a friend did. You decide for yourself.
