Gorgeous boy Jersey was found as a stray- This baby knows some basic commands and walks well on a leash- At some point someone had to love him enough to teach him these things- Sadly they have not shown up for him so he needs our help finding a new home-

About This Dog –
5/4/2013: Jersey was found as a stray. He walks well on the leash and knows how to sit and stay. He is very mannered and loves to be with people. He is about a year old, weighs 32 pounds and available for immediate adoption.

This dog has been wormed and vaccinated with a 5 way vaccination on 5/4/2013.

This dog received a flea and tick treatment on 5/4/2013.

Pike Pet Pals assists in helping dogs get out of the Pike County Pound. Private adopters can visit the Pike County Dog Pound at 2575 Alma Omega Road Waverly, Ohio every day of the week from 10am-4pm. Adoption fee is $28.00 cash. This includes a current Ohio dog license. Rescues can contact Volunteer Wayne at zebraswd@yahoo.com. Pup is scared and alone :( This sweet baby is an owner surrender - He has a hard time walking on a leash (he's probably never been trained to walk on one- :( However he sat so patiently while the volunteers removed ticks from him.... I'm doubting this angel has known love before entering this pound and that simply breaks my heart- Please share this little one today and help him to freedom!

About This Dog -

Release date 5/8. Sweet little guy, very pretty baby. Obviously his owners didn't show up for him, what a shame! Their loss is your gain. His pound is full and he needs out!!!

We had to move him around a bit, and he just went where ever we led him to, no resistance from this good boy! Ned is a friendly dog, and a little shy at first. We hope he will find a home soon, if not claimed. The large pens are full, and we've lost some dogs in the last two weeks, we don't want to lose more. About This Dog -
Release date 5/7.
Tulane came in a little on the grumpy side, but seemed to be doing much better, so hopefully he will soon let us handle him. By the looks of those pearly white choppers, he is a young dog. Tulane is handsome dog, on the large size. Tulane is really hoping he'll see his owner come walking through those pound doors to take him home!

Sweet "Black and Blue" is bruised and broken! He urgently needs our help. Poor Blue is severely emaciated (at just 17 pounds - at least 10 pounds underweight). He is all bones! Blue is completely blind, with only one eye bulging with glaucoma, which is surely causing him immense pain (the other eye is missing altogether). He has clearly been on the streets for a while, ultimately proving unable to fend for himself, even in garbage cans. Thanks to Abandoned Angels Cocker Spaniel Rescue, Inc., Blue is getting a second chance at life.
