Not my doing!

We've all listened to the propaganda by Big Corporations about the high cost of litigation and that somehow their liability should be limited in spite of the damage they may have caused.

Watching the process up close and personal has been eye-opening!

The mountains of paperwork generated and trees destroyed would fill the little defective Toyota they sold me.

The Albany. NY attorney representing Toyota U.S.A. shows no limit of trips in his BMW! Poor Attorney Rose chose a bad date for my deposition, was forced to re-schedule and will have to return for future errands having nothing to do with resolution.

Attorney Rose will have to travel those 4 hours here and 4 hours back in his BMW for the new deposition date, the Toyota inspection by Toyota [one already completed by NHTSA at my request], the depositions of my deponents, and who knows what other motions and objections will be conjured.  [Please note: In my opinion there are 2 separate issues: one of public safety because of the many complaints and accidents about Prius BRAKES that have been filed; the other, about my DEFECTIVE Toyota with NO BRAKES. Who wants to share the road with DEFECTIVE Toyotas?]

Poor man was forced to send his associate to add THREE WORDS to a Motion that might have been accomplished by telephone, FAX or email. It might be plausible that those services are unavailable in the Albany, NY area except his firm has previously employed them. Attorney Rose may have even traveled to Massachusetts when Attorney Viera filed suit against Toyota U.S.A. for Route 44 Toyota, somewhat jumping the gun.

It's all very confusing!

Please remember, unlike the Toyota Sudden Unintended Acceleration lawsuits that Toyota U.S.A. successfully delayed many years, fortunately, no one was hurt in this lawsuit because I refused to drive a NEW Toyota with NO BRAKES.

Then of course, there would be the 3 or 4 days of Trial involving 'EXPERT' testimony that Attorney Viera anticipates, which he will lose.

This is NOT my doing!

This is 'Big Corporations' with NO ACCOUNTABILITY cheating the CONSUMER and forcing the CONSUMER - YOU AND ME - to accept a DEFECTIVE PRODUCT.

The next time you hear about the high cost of litigation, put the blame where it belongs - Big Corporations!
