Kaine Just Pin-Pointed Why Trump Dropped Paris Agreement, Is He Jealous Of His Predecessor?

Sen. Time Kaine (D-Va.) fired back at Donald Trump for withdrawing from the Paris climate agreement, stating that Trump is “jealous” of former President Barrack Obama’s achievements.

Kaine tweeted on Friday, “Why did Trump really walk away from #ParisAgreement? He’s surrounded by science deniers and fossil fuel junkies.”
“POTUS jealous of Obama accomplishments,” he added in another tweet. “But in the end, American innovative spirit is stronger than his insecurities.”

Kaine went on to say that it is now up to local governments and private businesses and researchers, rather than the Trump administration, to protect the environment.
“U.S. private sector, researchers, cities, towns and states will lead clean energy revolution despite lack of leadership from WH & President,” the 2016 Democratic vice presidential nominee tweeted.

Trump’s decision makes the U.S. just the third country to not commit to the agreement.
He said during his speech on Thursday:
“We don’t want other leaders and other countries laughing at us anymore, and they won’t be. I was elected to represent the citizens of Pittsburgh, not Paris.”
Obama responded to Trump’s decision on Thursday. He said that withdrawing from the Paris agreement places the U.S. among “a small handful of nations that reject the future.”

“The nations that remain in the Paris Agreement will be the nations that reap the benefits in jobs and industries created,” he said in a statement.

JUST IN: Trump Responds To London Attack Like An Asshole – Twitter Attacks

The president of the United States just responded to the London terror attack situation in the most callous and insensitive way imaginable. Without sending his thoughts or condolences to the victims of the tragic attack on citizens in London, Trump retweeted a story from Drudge Report in which the headline reads:

“Fears of new terror attack after van ‘mows down 20 people’ on London Bridge.”

Twitter naturally responded in horror:

BREAKING: Paul Ryan Was Just Reported To The FBI For Fraud & Obstruction Of Justice

Paul Ryan’s approval ratings have been plummeting in the last couple of months. But things are about to get a lot worse for the House Speaker.

On Thursday evening, a Democratic coalition tasked with keeping the Trump administration accountable filed a complaint with the FBI against Paul Ryan for “fraud and obstructing” the investigation into connections between President Trump’s campaign and Russia.
Scott Dworkin, the co-chair of the group, took to Twitter to break the news.
“Speaker Ryan was just reported to the FBI for fraud & obstructing the #TrumpRussia investigations,” he wrote.
Dworkin also announced about an hour later that a House Ethics complaint was also being filed against Ryan for the same reason.
“House Ethics Complaint being filed tomorrow on Speaker Paul Ryan for obstructing #TrumpRussia probes, ” his tweet reads.
Before the appointment of Robert Mueller as special counsel in the Trump/Russia investigation, Ryan was strongly opposed to an independent prosecutor to take over the probe following Comey’s departure, even after it was revealed that Trump had pressured the former FBI Director to ignore the accusations against former national security adviser Michael Flynn.
During an interview with Fox News, Ryan explained why he was against an independent prosecutor:
“I don’t think it’s a good idea. We have three investigations going on right now,” Ryan told Bret Baier. “House investigation by our intelligence committee, which is the appropriate committee to do that, I believe, and we have a Senate Intelligence Committee … and have the FBI investigating all things Russia. I don’t think that’s a good idea. I think the intelligence committee is the one that should do it.”
Ryan has also been accused of having his own ties to Russia. Some have even suggested that these ties are the reason that he pushed back against the investigation in the first place.
In April, Claude Taylor, a former White House staffer who worked under Bill Clinton, announced via Twitter that he had heard “chatter” about intercepts that featured Ryan and Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell “discussing funneling illegal Russian money into [the Trump] campaign.”
Starting to hear chatter that there are intercepts w/ Paul Ryan and Mitch McConnell discussing funneling illegal Russian money into campaign
These latest complaints about Ryan to the FBI and the House Ethics Committee will surely not go unnoticed, especially considering all the other controversies he is wrapped up in.

Pittsburgh supports Paris climate agreement guidelines!
Hours after Trump falsely claimed to be representing Pittsburgh voters in his decision to withdraw the U.S. from the Paris climate agreement, Mayor Bill Peduto announced his support for a goal of powering Pittsburgh entirely with clean and renewable energy by 2035.
Today, Mayor Peduto joins a growing coalition of Mayors for 100% Clean Energy who have similarly announced support for a goal of powering their communities with 100 percent renewable energy such as wind and solar.
"Donald Trump said he was elected by voters of Pittsburgh, but his misguided decision to withdraw from the Paris climate does not reflect the values of our city. Pittsburgh will not only heed the guidelines of the Paris agreement, we will work to move towards 100 percent clean and renewable energy for our future, our economy, and our people." - Mayor Peduto
