Download PDF of the Corridor Map [3.26 MB]
Corridor map for the South Coast Rail project, which will rehabilitate existing track and build new track compatible with passenger service between South Station in Boston and split at Myricks Junction, one leg bound for Fall River and one bound for New Bedford. The project will follow the Northeast Corridor from Boston to Canton Junction, then follow the Stoughton Line to Myricks Junction, where it divides into two legs: the Fall River Secondary and the New Bedford Main Line. MBTA will reconstruct two stations (Canton Center and Stoughton); build ten new stations (North Easton, Easton Village, Raynham Place, Taunton, Taunton Depot, Freetown, Fall River Depot, Battleship Cove, King’s Highway, and Whale’s Tooth); and build two train layover facilities (Weaver’s Cove and Wamsutta).
