CounterCurrents: As Farmers Fight Back In India, Where Are We Heade

Dear Friend,

Some days ago someone in this list asked me what's happened of 'demonetisation' in India. Farmers are protesting across India. They are on the street demanding fair price for their produce, loan write offs and demanding prices in cash. Yesterday, at least five people were shot dead in Madhya Pradesh in Central India. In Maharashtra farmers were already protesting. Now it has spread into neighbouring Rajasthan too. With the cattle trade ban, this could become anything in the months to come.

If you don't mind, and if you think the content of this news letter is critical for the dignified living and survival of humanity and other species on earth, please forward it to your friends and spread the word.
